Puerto Rican Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative (PRADI)
In 2016, our researchers from the John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics made two successful trips to several cities in Puerto Rico to continue ascertainment efforts of and follow up with the Puerto Rican population, a previously underrepresented population within genomics research.
This week they will be making their third trip while visiting the cities of Aguadilla, Arecibo, Caguas, Carolina, Cayey, Cidra, Fajardo, Guaynabo, Manatí, Mayaguez, Ponce, and San Juan. Researchers from the Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis teams will be participating as well.
