INSAR 2018 Annual Meeting

The International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) hosts an annual meeting in which new scientific progress is exchanged and disseminated among global autism spectrum disorder (ASD) scientists and their trainees. This year INSAR hosted its Annual Meeting from May 9-12 in Rotterdam, Netherlands and our John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics (HIHG) researchers were some of the 2,000 attendees at this year’s successful event. Attendees included Dr. John Hussman, Dr. Margaret Pericak-Vance, Dr. Jeffery Vance, Dr. Michael Cuccaro, Dr. Anthony Griswold, Dr. Holly Cukier, Dr. Eden Martin, and Dr. Derek Dykxhoorn. Dr. Dykxhoorn had the opportunity to present his research on induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSC) while Dr. Griswold, Dr. Cuccaro, Dr. Martin, and Dr. Young presented posters.

INSAR 2018 was also an opportunity for researchers from the HIHG and the Hussman Institute for Autism to meet and discuss future plans for advancing knowledge about ASD.

INSAR provides scientific collaboration, mentorship, and education to better the lives of the individuals and families living with ASD. For more information click here.
